Session FracaFlow (3 days) : 14-15-16 November

Modeling of Naturally Fractured Reservoirs

Objective : To provide attendees with the basic concept for Naturally Fractured Reservoir modeling, and deliver proficient skills for the use of FracaFlow™..

This training session  is divided in 3 days and covers the handling of FracaFlow software and data management. The workflow consists of 4 main steps: fracture characterization, DFN modeling, model calibration and equivalent fracture parameters computation

Session CobraFlow (2 days) : 17-18 November.

Simulation of static properties

Objective: To provide attendees with static property modeling with the help of CobraFlow™. At the end of the training session, the trainee will acquire proficient use with the PluriGaussian methodology, the FFTMA Gaussian simulation advantages and the advanced upscaling methods.

Session PumaFlow (2days) : 21-22 November.

Reservoir Simulation

Objective: To provide attendees with necessary knowledge to learn dynamic simulation with the help of PumaFlow™. This objective will be achieved through:

• Data management and Quality Control.
• Build a complete simulation and analyse results.
• Extract sectors and perform simulation on them.
• Perform Forecast Analysis, Monitoring and Multiple Developpement Scenarios.
• Perform reservoir simulation for different contexts: Black Oil, Compositional and Dual Medium for Naturally Fractured Reservoir.

Session CondorFlow/EasySense (3 days) : 23-24-25 November.

Uncertainties Management in Reservoir Simulation

Objective: to learn a complete Methodology for Assisted History Matching and Risk Analysis with the version OFS2011 of CondorFlow and EasySense. This objective will be achieved through:

• Create an objective function for History Matching.
• Review uncertainty parameters and analyze their impact.
• Uncertainty parameters ranking.
• Perform Assisted History Matching on the production history.
• Use the matched model for forecasting.
• Perform Risk Analysis on a predictive scenario.
